A Closer Look at Your Hormones.
A Clearer Understanding of Your Options.

Your 45-minute comprehensive consultation with longevity expert, Trip Goolsby, MD, gives you dedicated time to discuss your concerns, review relevant findings, and explore whether hormone optimization may be appropriate within your broader health plan.

Your Symptoms & Health History

Discuss when your symptoms began, how they have changed, and how they affect your energy, sleep, mood, weight, strength, focus, or sexual health. Review relevant diagnoses, medications, family history, and previous hormone treatment.

Laboratory Findings & Contributing Factors

Dr. Goolsby applies a bio-individualized approach to comprehensive laboratory findings alongside thyroid function, metabolic health, medications, sleep, stress, nutrition, and existing health conditions. No single laboratory value determines your care.

Your Goals & Next Steps

Your goals help guide the conversation. Review appropriate options, potential benefits and risks, alternatives, monitoring, costs, and what ongoing care may involve before deciding how to proceed.

Our wellness coordinator can answer questions about scheduling and our services. Your physician consultation is a separate appointment.

Exploring Hormone Optimization Options

Your symptoms, health history, medications, laboratory findings, and goals guide the conversation. If hormone therapy may be appropriate, Dr. Goolsby explains what is being considered, why it may fit your needs, what alternatives exist, and what responsible monitoring would involve.

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Depending on your individual findings, the discussion may include estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid hormone, or other relevant options. Dr. Goolsby explains the intended role of each recommendation and why it may, or may not, be appropriate for you.

Personalized Dosing & Delivery

Hormone therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Review the specific medication, dosage, delivery method, and timing being considered, including whether an FDA-approved or compounded product is being recommended.

Monitoring & Ongoing Optimization

Consistent follow-up visits, your response to treatment, and appropriate laboratory testing help Dr. Goolsby evaluate your progress, address potential side effects, and determine whether adjustments should be considered.

Make an Informed Decision

Before beginning treatment, understand the potential benefits, risks, limitations, alternatives, costs, and follow-up requirements. Offering bio-identical hormone therapy does not mean it is appropriate for every person or every symptom.

Frequently Asked Questions About
Hormone Optimization

How do I know whether my symptoms are hormone-related?

Fatigue, disrupted sleep, changes in weight or body composition, brain fog, mood changes, reduced libido, temperature changes, and slower recovery may have a hormonal component, but these concerns can also have other causes. A physician evaluation helps determine what may be contributing to your symptoms.

What happens during the physician consultation?

You will meet one-on-one with Trip Goolsby, MD, for a comprehensive review of your symptoms, health history, medications, previous care, available laboratory results, and personal goals. He will explain any appropriate options, potential benefits and risks, alternatives, monitoring, and order any addition lab panels needed to make bio-individualized recommendations.

Will I need laboratory testing?

Possibly. Dr. Goolsby determines which tests may be appropriate based on your individual concerns and medical history. Laboratory findings are interpreted within the context of your complete health picture rather than used as the sole basis for treatment.

What is bioidentical hormone replacement therapy?

“Bioidentical” describes hormones with the same chemical structure as hormones produced by the human body.

Is hormone therapy appropriate for everyone?

No. Whether hormone therapy is appropriate depends on your symptoms, diagnosis, laboratory findings, health history, medications, risk factors, and goals. Some patients may benefit from a different approach or need additional evaluation before hormone therapy is considered, which is why Infinite Health takes a bio-individualized approach to each patient.

How soon might I notice changes?

Every patient responds differently, and results cannot be guaranteed. Some concerns may change sooner than others, while meaningful assessment may require time, follow-up, and appropriate monitoring.

Is the discovery call with Dr. Goolsby?

No. The complimentary discovery call is with a wellness coordinator. It is a brief fit check where you can ask general questions and learn how to schedule your separate physician consultation. Medical advice is not provided during the discovery call.

Does insurance cover hormone evaluation or treatment?

Infinite Health files Medicare for eligible clinic services. Otherwise, care is private pay, and superbills are available upon request. Laboratory testing, prescriptions, and other services involve separate costs or coverage requirements.
