Sound Familiar?
Let’s Talk About What’s Changed.
WHEN YOUR BODY FEELS DIFFERENT
You may notice one concern, or several changes that begin affecting your days and nights.
At Infinite Health, your evaluation considers the pattern of your symptoms, your medical history,
and other possible explanations.
Hot Flashes &
Night Sweats
Sudden warmth, flushing, or waking up drenched can interrupt meetings, social plans, and a comfortable night’s sleep.
Interrupted Sleep &
Low Energy
You struggle to fall asleep, wake during the night, or start the morning feeling unrefreshed. Getting through the day takes more effort than it used to.
Weight & Body-Composition Changes
Your clothes fit differently, your waistline is changing, or familiar eating and exercise habits no longer seem to produce the same results.
Brain Fog &
Mood Changes
Losing your train of thought, struggling to concentrate, or feeling more irritable or overwhelmed can leave you wondering why you don’t
feel like yourself.
Low Libido &
Vaginal Discomfort
Changes in desire, vaginal dryness, or discomfort during intimacy deserve a comfortable, private conversation about your concerns and options.
Changes in Your Menstrual Cycle
Your periods have become less predictable, or their frequency, duration, or flow has changed. Bring those details to your evaluation so they can be assessed
in context.

A Clearer Understanding
of What’s Changed
You deserve time to explain how you feel, what you’ve already tried, and what you want to improve.

At Infinite Health in Metairie, your consultation with Trip Goolsby, MD, brings those details together with your medical history to guide a personalized evaluation.

Menopause & Perimenopause Care: Common Questions
Can I be in perimenopause if I still have periods?
Yes. Perimenopause is the transition leading up to menopause, and symptoms can begin while you are still having periods. Changes in your cycle, hot flashes, disrupted sleep, or vaginal discomfort are reasons to discuss what you’re experiencing with your physician.
Do I need hormone testing before scheduling an appointment?
You do not need to arrange testing on your own. Hormone levels can fluctuate during perimenopause, so a single result may not provide a clear answer. Dr. Goolsby will review your symptoms, menstrual history, and any previous results to determine whether his comprehensive panel is appropropriate.
Do I have to wait until my periods stop to seek care?
No. If symptoms are affecting your sleep, comfort, relationships, or daily routine, you can seek an evaluation now. You do not have to wait until you have reached menopause to discuss your options.
Will my care plan include hormone therapy?
That depends on your evaluation, medical history, and preferences. Trip Goolsby, MD, will discuss whether bio-identical hormone therapy is appropriate and explain the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives. Your plan may also address nutrition, metabolic health, physical fitness, sleep, and mindset.
What should I bring to my physician consultation?
Bring a list of your medications and supplements, any recent laboratory results, and notes about your symptoms and menstrual cycle. Include previous treatments you’ve tried and the concerns you most want to address.
